These Terms govern your use of our website and services, including purchasing products from our online store.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian
• You are providing accurate and complete information

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

• All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated
• Prices include VAT where applicable
• Payment must be made in full before orders are processed

We use secure third-party payment providers. We do not store your payment details.

• All prints are subject to availability
• We reserve the right to discontinue or limit quantities at any time
• Slight variations in colour or finish may occur

We make every effort to display products accurately, but cannot guarantee exact colour representation across devices.

• An order is only confirmed once payment is received
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order(e.g. suspected fraud, pricing errors)
• If an order is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary.

Dog Ear Editions is not responsible for:

• Delays caused by couriers
• Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

6.1 Eligibility

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

• You may return defective, damaged, or incorrect items within 7 days of delivery
• Items must be unused and in original packaging (where applicable)


6.2 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

•  Change of mind
•  Custom or made-to-order prints (unless defective)


6.3 Damaged or Incorrect Items

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence.

We will:

•  Replace the item, or
• Issue a refund (including delivery costs, where applicable)


6.4 Refund Process

• Refunds are processed after inspection of the returned item
• Refunds are issued via the original payment method
• Processing may take 5–10 business days


6.5 Return Costs

• We cover return shipping for defective or incorrect items
• Otherwise, return shipping is at the customer’s expense

7.1 Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order:

•  Within 24 hours of placing it, provided production has not started

After this period:

• Orders for printed or custom items cannot be cancelled, as they are made to order


7.2 Refunds for Cancelled Orders

• Approved cancellations will be refunded in full
• Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days
